I really enjoyed reading this book It was well worth my time, and i am glad i read it. I like reading books about the history of Texas and the Alamo. It was real interesting to learn that some people didn’t want to kill people, and that some people had family on Santa Annas side. I would recomend that anybody that likes books that are funny and serious at the same time read this book because it is a good mix between the two. My favorite part of the book was when Johnny Hays found the Summers girl hidden out in the chicken coop and he wouldn’t let go of her hand and her little brother shot his left ear off. This was a really good book.
